Dust for the Brazilian Rain Forest

A news release of the Weizmann Institute of Science entitled The health of the Brazilian rain forest depends on dust from one valley in Africa explains that the Bodele valley in Africa supplies needed dust to the Brazilian Rain Forest. Data from satellites and researchers from Israel, Brazil, the United States and the United Kingdom ascertained that up to 50 million tons of dust makes its way to the Amazon region every year from Africa.
